Chevrolet Beat, a fresh new small car is likely to hit the Indian roads by June 2011. Beat Diesel will give tough competition to other small cars of the same segment such as Ford Figo and Nissan Micra. This has been designed exclusively for the diesel lovers. The Diesel Engine of the Chevrolet beat will be a 1 Litre, 3-cylinder CRDI Diesel Engine which will produce a Max Power of about 60 BHP and Max Torque of about 100 Nm. The engines will be manufactured at the Talegaon Plant of Chevrolet India. Interior space seems to be quite high, and the dash and steering wheel all look classy for a car in this segment.
