Description:

This is the Fourth Generation 7 series, codenamed the E66. Model 2004, 4.4 litre (4398 CC, V8, 32 Valves, 328 BHP), German Import. This is a supreme luxury machine with a variety of features, which are too many to list down also, but will try to my best ability although some of them are unused yet on our roads for obvious reasons, nevertheless great to have them along. This is a company owned car in pristine condition as you can see, and totally original in every manner. Delhi registered with all valid paperwork and ready to be driven / transferred anywhere. Two computerized keys, manuals and leather case will come with the car along with service booklet records clocking a genuine 34k on the odometer only till date. The BMW E66 was the most technologically advanced car they ever produced at that time and it has a host of technical breakthroughs and innovations later used in all BMW models and also replicated by Mercedes and Audi on their premium cars. Valvetronic engine control : Variable valve lift replaced throttle butterflies for normal running conditions for added response, efficiency and power. Electronic Damper Control-Continuous (EDC-C) : This means Active suspension which controls the vertical movement of the wheels, relatively to the movements of the chassis and body which are operated and sensed through control systems and sensors. It literally raises or lowers the chassis independently on each wheel through an actuator unlike in normal suspensions where the entire movement process of everything is determined by the road surface. The above new technology virtually eliminates body roll of the car while we turn / corner, accelerate or brake. World introduction of Active Roll Stabilization (ARS) active Anti-roll bars on a sedan. ARS is a revolutionary system that almost completely eliminates body roll when cornering. It employs active anti-roll bars which use a hydraulic servo in the middle to actively counteract body roll. This results in increased comfort for passengers, and when coupled with Electronic Damper Control-Continuous (EDC-C) it raises comfort levels to new heights. Self leveling air suspension on rear axle for increased comfort. The first introduction of BMW's revolutionary iDrive system, the first fully integrated series production vehicle systems controller. Worlds first infinitely variable intake manifold. World introduction of electronic adaptive headlight technology, giving automatic horizontal (during turns) and vertical (based on rear axle load) adjustment of the low beam. Means simply the light will follow your turn and more. Worlds first 6-speed automatic transmission in a sedan. Automatic Door Soft Close system minimized the force required to close the doors, and would completely close them if improperly closed. This system also extended to the trunk. Means also that if the door is loose, it will be sucked shut. First car in the world to have Electromechanical parking brake. Not only could this system apply the parking brake in stop-and-go traffic situations to reduce tedium, but it could also automatically apply the parking brake after the ignition was switched off. First BMW with DVD-based GPS Automotive navigation system. First BMW to feature Bi-Xenon (HID) headlights. First BMW to feature 'Push-Button-Start'. The rectangular key-fob was inserted into a slot next to the steering wheel and the driver would push a button to start the engine. This method of starting the car is the initiator of all future BMW models. Radar based Active Cruise Control (ACC), this is a system used to sense the presence of other vehicles and accordingly control the cruise. This system does not take inputs from any external sources like satellites but uses the sensors in the car and hence more accurate and on spot. Introduction of two fibre optic bus systems, MOST Bus (MOST - Media Oriented Systems Transport) is a high-speed multimedia network technology optimized by the automotive industry. It can be used for applications inside or outside the car. The serial MOST bus uses technology to transport audio, video, voice and data signals; and "Byteflight" (safety systems bus). This is a communication protocol used to have electronic communication between automotive components; and A Controller Area Network (CAN bus) is a vehicle bus standard designed to allow microcontrollers and devices to communicate with each other in applications without a host computer. It is a message-based protocol, designed originally for multiplex electrical wiring within automobiles, but is also used in many other contexts. Other features included a dual zone climate control AC, Comfort seats including a 20-way electric adjustment, 4-way lumbar adjustment, two piece articulated back-rests, adjustable neck support, electric headrests and memory options available on both driver and passenger sides. The different seat variations together with options for heating, cooling and massa
