Green news from India that Reva is the highest produced electric car than any other in the world hinting at the demand that it has secured in the United Kingdom and other places. Reva is an electric car which speeds up to 25 mph or 40 Kmph. Unfortunately, even in India, we have only one model of the Reva available.
Customers still don't prefer buying a low speed car at the price of a little more than a small car. Reva hasn't been through most crash tests abroad and has been considered a heavy quadricycle. But innovations on the car (or Quadricycle) help it travel an 80 kmph recently. The Bangalore plant consisting of a capacity of 30,000 units a year is expected to be opened shortly which will be the world's largest Battery Electric Vehicles assembly plant.
