The technologically sound Passat is a luxury sedan which gives adequate Fuel Economy and has only one engine option of 2.0-litre Diesel motor mated to a 6-speed Automatic gearbox. German precision is all evident in this vehicle with a unique performance of the engine. The engine delivers maximum power and torque figures of 174bhp @ 3600rpm and 350Nm @ 1500rpm respectively. First showcased at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, the 2017 Passat looks completely new compared to its previous generation model. It shares the same MQB platform of the Tiguan SUV. The Car accommodates good interior space with a wider wheelbase. Much of the interior space is enhanced by the ideal usage of the existing space. This car comes with a Front Wheel Drive option in both the variants. The new Passat gets Nappa Leather seats along with panoramic sunroof.
