One of the leading four wheeler manufacturer Maruti Suzuki is in the plan to introduce its diesel variant of Eeco in a very short period of time which is expected with an affordable cost of Rs.3,75,000. The new vehicle will be powered by a 0.8 litre Twin cylinder Diesel engine with a displacement of 793cc. It will churn out the maximum power output of 47bhp at 3500rpm and maximum torque output of 125Nm at 2000rpm. With the powerful engine, the vehicle may return the maximum speed of 146kmph. The Eeco diesel has been designed with the length of 3675mm, width of 1475mm and height of 1800mm. It will provide the wheelbase of 2350mm and ground clearance of 160mm. This diesel version of the vehicle will surely be a tough competitor to its similar other vehicles.
