Very few information about this upcoming car from Hyundai is available. Here are those <\/em><\/p>\n

1) Hyundai’s PA will come in three variants, and is likely to be priced in the Rs 3.9-4.5 lakh segment, right in the middle of Santro\u2019s top-end model and Getz\u2019s low-end model. Hyundai may plan to launch the PA this september to tap the festival demand. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

2) Hyundai’s PA resembles the Kia’s picanto hatchback(Kia is the Hyundai’s subsidiary).<\/strong><\/em> PA will compete with other sub-compact segment cars such as Chevrolet spark, Maruti Suzuki zen estilo, Maruti Suzuki wagonR and Tata Indica xeta in India and would rival Fiat’s panda in europe.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

3) Hyundai’s PA may be powered by the santro xing’s 1.1L petrol engine. If this is true this 1.1L will power three models ( santro xing, getz prime and PA) of Hyundai India. <\/strong><\/em>No diesel for the PA(atleast in India) since<\/strong><\/em> Hyundai feels a diesel engine for the PA might be an expensive offer also since its getz CRDi is on the cards Hyundai don’t want any cannibalisation . Hyundai officially told that it have no plans to strap a diesel engine in the PA.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

4) Hyundai’s PA will not be just a refurbished version of santro, it will be a completely new car. PA will be more upmarket and will have more contemporary features. Gear lever in the PA will be integrated with the dashboard instead of conventional floor shift pattern.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Hyundai’s sales has been falling in the past months, the company desperately needs a car to maintain its market share of 20%. Will the PA help in Hyundai’s revival? we have to wait till the launch.<\/p>\n
