Ford India today introduced sharper and spirited \u2018Sports Editions\u2019 of hatchback Figo and compact sedan Aspire, further enhancing the fun-to-drive credentials of its two popular and extremely capable models.<\/p>\n

Featuring a dozen design and performance enhancements, the Figo Sports Edition will be available across dealerships (ex-showroom Delhi) at INR 721,600 (1.5 Diesel Titanium) and INR 631,900 (1.2 Petrol Titanium). The Ford Aspire in Sports Edition is priced at INR 760,600 (1.5 Diesel Titanium) and INR 650,900 (1.2 Petrol Titanium).<\/p>\n

Fun-to-drive spirit<\/strong><\/p>\n

True to Ford\u2019s commitment to driving enthusiasts, the Figo & Aspire Sports Editions are engineered to offer precise, agile and responsive steering, and stable, predictable handling.<\/p>\n

The sporty, trendy update \u2013 featuring a tuned suspension, bigger & wider 15-inch <\/strong>alloy wheels\u2013 enhances the fun-to-drive character of the two popular Ford models. It adds to the Figo and Aspire Sports Editions\u2019 sophisticated ride quality.<\/p>\n

A rear spoiler has been added to the Figo<\/strong> Sports Edition<\/strong> to improve aerodynamics for a more refined performance.<\/p>\n

Both the models are available with a choice of two powertrains — 1.2l TiVCT petrol engine, generating a peak power of 88 PS and fuel efficiency of 18.12 KM\/l and 1.5l TDCi diesel engine that generates class-leading power of 100 PS and fuel efficiency of 24.29 KM\/l.<\/p>\n

The engines will be paired to a smooth, five-speed manual transmission.<\/p>\n

Leading on Safety & smart technology<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Figo and Aspire Sports Edition make driver and passenger safety a top priority and will be equipped with dual front driver and passenger airbags, along with ABS and EBD as standard.<\/p>\n

The Sports Edition cars will also feature MyFord Dock — a first-in-class feature, offering drivers a unique solution for storing, mounting and charging mobile phones, MP3 player, and satellite navigation systems, and for integrating these devices into the car\u2019s entertainment system. When not in use, the dock can be closed out of sight.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Sporty, Elegant and Efficient Design<\/strong><\/p>\n

Both Ford Figo and Aspire Sports Edition boast of an aggressive, impressive look. Sharp, fresh exterior changes on the two models, include sporty grille, black inset on headlamp bezel and smart, dynamic graphics on the sides and rear.<\/p>\n

An all-new black honeycomb grille across Figo Sports Edition further enhances the bold and trademark trapezoidal grille. The dual-tone exterior with a contrasting black painted roof, all-new black alloys and outside rear view mirrors (ORVMs) enhance the hatchback\u2019s sportier stance. The Aspire Sports Edition also dons a new grille with smart black painted bars.<\/p>\n

Intelligent Interiors<\/strong><\/p>\n

The sophisticated exterior theme across Sports Edition extends inside with sporty all-black interiors \u2013 from inner door handles to the centre console. All occupants inside Figo and Aspire Sports Editions will notice exceptional levels of craftsmanship, with colors and materials carefully selected by Ford designers to create a refined and premium environment.<\/p>\n

The Ford Figo Sports Edition seats will don impressive red stitching while Aspire Sports Edition\u2019s cabin will feature sophisticated fog grey stitching. The steering is leather wrapped and uses contrasting coloured seams.<\/p>\n

Both the cars will continue to offer unmatched storage with 20 unique spaces.<\/p>\n

Thanks to a powerful automatic climate control system, passengers continue to enjoy the all black interior space in even greater comfort. Featuring the high-efficiency compressor and condenser, the air conditioner can bring the cabin of a vehicle that has been sitting in the hot sun to below 25 degrees in less than 15 minutes, faster than any of its competitors<\/p>\n

The Ford Figo and Aspire Sports Editions will be available in five^<\/sup> and seven exciting colours respectively ranging across Ruby Red^<\/sup>, Sparkling Gold^<\/sup>, Oxford White^<\/sup>, Tuxedo Black^<\/sup>, Deep Impact Blue, Ingot Silver^<\/sup> and Smoke Grey.<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n
