Toyota has announced a special service campaign for Innova cars in India. \u00a0It plans to recall their Innova MPV which has a problem in spiral cable mounted on the steering wheel. \u00a0It will cover 44,989 units of Innova MPV manufactured between the February 2005 to December 2008. The company is currently working to get all the necessary parts in order to replace the faulty parts.<\/p>\n

The defective part will lead to continuous illumination of an airbag warning lamp on instrument cluster.\u00a0 The driver\u2019s airbag may be deactivated. The company will replace the faulty parts at free of cost.\u00a0 The service will take one hour only.<\/p>\n

The customers will be contacted by the Toyota dealers. The company plans to solve this issue on 6.58 million of vehicles globally. This recall will be the biggest one in the global automobile industry. Toyota said in a statement, \u201cThe Company is conducting this special service campaign keeping the \u201cCustomer First\u201d philosophy in mind in order to avoid inconvenience to customers.
