However what we have unearthed from our closed sources is Ford plans three segment of cars on the ‘KA’ platform – small car which will sit above figo, compact sedan to take on Honda amaze and full size sedan on the likes of fiesta. <\/strong><\/p>\n

What the grapevine also tells us is Ford has shelved the plans to launch the 7-seater Ecosport which many thought eventually it would reach indian shores. To our surprise, Ford has already started working on mid-life facelift of ecosport which suppliers have also confirmed. The facelift won’t be a stickering job or redesigned grille but much more than that. Ford has taken input of ecosport owners and it would lookalike a new generation car. Mouthwatering! but defer your buying process as the launch of facelifted ecosport will happen only in 2016.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ford is also working on another facelift for figo. Remember with the launch of KA, ford is in no mood to discontinue the figo.
