The new hatchback is codenamed as YL7 which is the first international model from Maruti-Suzuki. The engine is coupled with 5 speed manual transmission.4 speed automatic transmission is also available. It is also 100mm longer and 50mm taller than the A-Star. It is taller It will get 16 inch alloy wheels with 185\/55 R16 tyres. It will get a 996 cc, 3 cylinder engine mated to a CVT gearbox. It will get a twin split chrome grille with integrated funky projector headlights and also LED turn-indicators at the front.
