At the launch occassion, Siddhartha Lal, MD &amp; CEO of Eicher motors commented Royal Enfield has grown from 50,000 to 73,000 motorcycles last year. And also he added, &#8220;The new bike will be on the market by mid 2012&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The Thunderbird 500cc resembles like a sharpened cleaned up version of its previous Thunderbird. Eicher Motors MD and CEO Siddhartha Lal informed, &#8220;After 10 years of launching the Thunderbird, we have completely redesigned the model, especially for the urban and the long distance travellers&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the company has announced the launch of accessories such as helmets, jackets and boots through its dealerships across the country.
