Hero has unveiled its upgraded models of two wheelers for the year of 2014.Hero plans to launch 14 new models like new variants, upgraded versions. We can expect the launch of some of these two wheelers in the upcoming festive season.
The first model is new Splendor of Hero which is known as i-smart. This bike gets ‘V’ shaped headlight, 100cc engine, 5 spoke alloy wheels. It also includes a Start-Stop System. The Start-Stop function can work only in neutral in geared two wheelers and this technology improves the fuel efficiency of vehicles. This system switches the engine in off state automatically at traffic signals and other brief stops in order to avoid the wasteful fuel consumption.
The Hero 150cc X-treme bike will also get minor changes. It will include Electronic Engine Immobilizer System. The engine immobilizer system is used to avoid thefts. This system requires a key which is code matched to the engine’s starting system. If anybody tries to start the motorcycle with the help of different key then the starting system will not respond and stops the power to electric or kick starter.
