Renault plans to launch an all new mini car in the country by next year. It will compete with the cars like Hyundai Eon and Alto 800. The small car (Code name: SBA) will be based on the Renault-Nissan‘s new CMF-A platform. The Datsun Redi-go concept will use this same platform that was showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo.
Now the noticias automotivas website has released the model sketches of this small car. These sketches are imaginary and they had created the sketches of small car (SBA) with the help of Redi-Go concept.
The new car will get attractive design and is expected to get 800-900cc engine with 5 speed manual transmission. Jerome Stoll, executive vice-president & sales chief of Renault said to ET, “The new car will be manufactured in India as well as in Brazil. I expect the new small car to be a success in India and around the world. It will be an attractive car with good usability. It will help Renault move to the next stage of development in India. We want this car to be a highvolume product”.
