Ford has launched its 2014 Figo at a starting price of Rs.3.97 lakh. The new Ford Figo gets more attractive features. 2014 Figo is available with Wi-Fi option which is one of the important features of the car. It offers two new shades –Mars Red and Paprica red. The color option Mars red and Paprica Red are derived from its EcoSport and Fiesta Sedan respectively. Ford has discontinued the color options- Bright Yellow and Colorado Red.
The Wi-Fi option is available at a price of of Rs. 10,000 and this option can be included to any Variant. It consists of a Wi-Fi dongle. Wi-Fi dongle is used to insert a 3G-enabled SIM card for the Wi-Fi access. The Wi-Fi package also offers blue LED interior lights and black seat covers.
It gets Driver Information System with new function. Driver Information System can display the Average Fuel Economy (AFE) as well as the existing ‘Distance to Empty’(DTE) . The vehicle also gets speed sensing volume controls. The car does not receive any mechanical changes. 2014 Ford Figo is powered by two engine options. It gets the same 1.2 litre Dura Tec petrol and 1.4 litre Dura Torq diesel engine option with 5 speed manual transmission.
