Tata is all set to launch a new SUV nearly after a decade. Tata launched sumo and safari almost a decade back. Though tata launched number of facelifts and upgraded models in the form sumo grande mark II and safari storme. But these models has not hit jackpot yet. The sales have been less than average. Tata hopes to regain its dominance with the launch of an all new SUV called NEXON. It was earlier thought it would be named as Bolt. Nexon will debut in the hotter compact suv segment currently dominated by Ford Ecosport and Renault Duster. Tata Nexon built on the vista’s X1 platform. However the styling will be all new. The new design language and new engine options will be the highlight of Tata Nexon. Tata Nexon will be powered by 1.2L Revotron petrol engine and an all new in-house developed diesel engine. Tata Nexon will also showcase the Nexon SUV at the 2014 geneva auto expo. Tata Nexon will hit the market in 2015.
