About Yamaha Ray ZR

Yamaha Motor India has introduced its all new scooter christened as Yamaha Ray ZR at the ongoing Auto Expo Event 2016. It has been designed focussing young Indian men which is powered by an air cooled four stroke, SOHC, two valve, 113cc "Bluecore" technology engine mated to a CVT unit. The scooter weighs nearly 103kg with an excellent under seat storage capacity of 21 litres. It features a freshly designed instrument panel which is quite good. Yamaha Ray ZR will be available in both disc and drum brake version in which the scooter may be priced at Rs.49,000 for the drum brake version and Rs.53,000 for the disc brake version. But the vehicle was showcased in a disc brake version featuring cast aluminium wheels. It also gets a telescopic front suspension for better handling and some other features such as a separate house for indicators along side the headlamp as well as air inlets behind the rider's leg and below the seat. All these features will definitely attracts the young Indian men.
